Our Towns
Named #1 Asia Pacific destination by Lonely Planet in 2019, our spectacular region welcomes travellers like no other in Australia.
We are a pleasant three-hour drive south of Perth and are Western Australia’s premier holiday destination offering pristine natural attractions, premium wineries and craft breweries, fine restaurants, handmade arts and crafts, unspoiled beaches, towering karri forests and friendly locals. Blessed with a mild Mediterranean maritime climate, the four seasons are gently defined in this relaxed corner of the country.
Dunsborough, Eagle Bay and Yallingup are nestled either side of Cape Naturaliste and so have the best of both worlds, the raw energy of the open ocean and the calm of Geographe Bay, with endless stunning beaches, world-class surf breaks, protected bays, coastal hikes, great shopping and amazing wineries and restaurants. Explore the beautiful coastline, taste premium local wines, check out the local galleries, indulge in local cuisines or walk the Cape to Cape track- there really is something for everyone in our area.
Yallingup
Majestically nestled on a ridge and framed by the Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park, Yallingup is a small seaside town that’s bred the world’s most avid surfers. You can watch them challenge the swells and barrels of the Indian Ocean from the award winning grassed playground area, shaded barbeque lawns, various lookouts or the soft white sandy shore. The tranquil crystal-clear lagoon at Yallingup Beach is a favoured spot for snorkelling and swimming – perfect for a cool down after a trek along the rugged cliffs that look out to the nearby Cape to Cape Track.
Yallingup is home to the Ngilgi Cave, where a stroll along extensive boardwalks comes with stunning views of stalactites, stalagmites and helictites. Yallingup is also where artisans set up galleries, studios and craft workshops. Combined with the spectacular food, wine and craft beer, it’s no wonder Yallingup was named The Best Town in Australia by Australian Traveller magazine in 2019.
Dunsborough
Dunsborough is a tranquil resort town situated between the stunning turquoise banks of Geographe Bay and Ngari Marine Park and is a multiple winner of WA’s top tourism town award. The town is a bustling mix of boutiques and cafes, along with restaurants, brew houses, wine bars and pubs as well as two golf courses, the Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse and the iconic 135km Cape to Cape Track walking trail.
